Memorial Day turned out to be the best day of the weekend. It was great to see a large turn out at both the Train Station and at the Post. A big thanks to Bob
Peczkowski and his staff for the great spaghetti dinner.
This will be my last Commanders Corner, as my term as Commander will soon end. It has been a memorable time for me. A lot has been accomplished
during my term in office; Painting & cleaning of the Hall and Post in general.
A lot of credit is due to my fellow officers, Sr. Vice Commander Jerry Kandziorski and Adjutant Chuck Class, on helping the Post achieve 100% Membership, plus a few extra. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped
On Vegas Nights, Bingo, The Picnic, and all the fund raisers in the post.
Thanks go out to the Bartenders, Kitchen Staff, and Janitorial Staff, who are paid, but the Post would not run with out them. Last but not least, YOU the members of Post 703, which make the Post what it is.
Your new Commander, Jerry Kandziorski will be coming on board at
the June 25, 2008 General Membership meeting. I hope as many members as
possible can attend to give Jerry as much support as possible.
It has been an honor and a privilege to be your commander, now I look
forward to being the Jr. Past Commander to aid Jerry in any way I can. I will
still hope to see you at Bingo, and Vegas Nights, and remember…..
